(Hmmm.... it seems as though my embedded tweets are coming through as text only some places. Argh.)
I had not heard that Kelly Barnhill had an upcoming book. Looking forward to that!
ReplyDeleteI also have The Wild Robot on my list to read.
I was able to listen to and talk with Sara Pennypacker this weekend at Anderson's. I adored Pax and I had a few questions I wanted answered. So glad to have the chance to talk with her!
Nice assortment of books! I need to get back to the Red Balloon one of these days. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteSo many fabulous books! Kinda glad your Caldecott committee work is over. I missed your blog posts! :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, Peter Brown!! I need to get my hands on The Wild Robot, I'm sure I'll love it. Thanks for this!
ReplyDeleteI've read so many great things about Pax - really looking forward to reading it.
ReplyDeleteThe cover of Punk Skunks is hilarious. I hadn't heard of it before now, but am definitely going to keep an eye out for it! I really like your "Lingering in My Mind" section. What a great idea to mention books that stick with you.
